What's Happening: Kitty Bradshaw's 2nd Blogiversary!

This is turning out to be one eventful summer - and summer has only just begun! WOW. So Tuesday, June 29, 2010, was a night that, as a blogger, I will never forget!  I had the amazing opportunity to be a part of an awesome networking event for over 200 New York bloggers and social media elite! Hosted by the savvy and effervescent Kitty Bradshaw, the event marked the two-year anniversary of her blog KittyBradshaw.com, which chronicles her “New York Life from a California Perspective”. Held in Chelsea at the trendy APART Fashion Showroom, Kitty brought together trendsetters and social tastemakers with varying perspectives to rub elbows and share ideas all under one fabulous roof!

When I arrived at Apart Showroom with my date Taina (FitForFashion), the first thing that I noticed was the unbelievable energy! In every area of the chic and airy showroom, were clusters of beautiful people eagerly chatting it up and luxuriating in the evening's euphoria. And when we weren't gabbing with each other, we were sipping on blogger themed cocktails sponsored by Smirnoff Vodka, munching on cubes of delightful cheeses sponsored by Cabot Creamery, and indulging in skin care products courtesy of Johnson & Johnson. If that wasn't enough, some lucky guests were treated to posh mini manicures thanks to Priti Nails.

What could make a good night even better? SHOES!!!!! Yes.. that's right, we were all treated to a sneak peak of the fall line of Nina Shoes, which was gorgeously on display for our eyes to behold!

Check out this cute leopard wedge that I died for right in the middle of the floor! Literally, I momentarily ceased breathing when I saw this amazing shoe!

Is this gorgeous piece of foot candy or what? I had the opportunity to speak with Matthew Iles ( E-Commerce Marketing Manager over at Nina Shoes), who (after I damn near attacked him) told me that the wedge will be available sometime in July. Ummmm... It's July.. I can't wait!

So, all in all, I'd have to say that it was a pretty fab night! I met some wonderful bloggers (shout out to FabChick, LipStick&Luxury, LadyandaTramp and OSoChic), soaked in the glam atmosphere, and got the inside scoop on a sick pair of Nina wedges! Oh, and there were gift bags too, which were filled with treats including a copy of TimeOut New York, a thumb drive containing Apart's fall collection and a uber cute nude slip dress courtesy of Apart!
